Dr. Danita Reese

Dr. Danita Reese received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychobiology at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1987. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.

Her professional training included work at the North General Hospital and the Gouveneur Hospital in New York, as well as the Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia. Her post doctoral training was performed at the Kingsbridge Hospital in Bronx, New York.

She began her professional career with Podiatry Associates in Malden, Massachusetts and went on to join Chapel Hill Podiatry in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Dr. Reese started her own private practice, Family Foot Clinic, PC in 1995.

Dr. Reese is a present member in good standing in the following associations and societies:

  • American Podiatric Medical Association
  • American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management
  • Virginia Podiatric Medical Association

She is a long distance runner/marathon runner, and has run competitively since UCLA. Dr. Reese is affiliated with several running organizations and competes in road races in and out of the country.

She also donates to ASPCA and two charities in Haiti: Streethearts Safe House and Gods Planet for Haiti.
